NOT BORING AS NOCTI VAGIS HERE WE HAVE MELODIC, TECHNICAL BLACK
METAL, WITH BRUTAL MEMORIABLE COMPOSITIONS. WELL PRODUCED WORK. GOOD
POINTS GOES FOR THE DRUM WORK SOLID AND BRUTAL.
1996
In the drunken easter days Tunrida sees the light of day, the night
of earth for the first time. First steps are made in the composing
area. In autumn Tunrida makes a few gigs and records their first
demo, entitled Eternal Twilight.
1997
Spring brings yet another gig for Tunrida. Some tape-trading and
interviews answered. A lot of training, resulting in Astral Majesty
-demo and a recording contract with Solistitium Records.
1998
In February Tunrida heads towards the Astia Studio to record their
first full-lenght Hierarchy. A lot of boozing and hangovers,
recording and headaches. In the spring Tunrida makes two gigs. The
autumn approaches, and the release of the album seems to be
delayed...
1999
The Hierarchy album is released in February, finally. But what the
fuck?! Solistitium Records stops the communication with the band,
and appear to be rip-offers. Well, fuck you too. A lot of training,
practise what preach, aye? Tunrida car-crashes in a way to a gig, no
bleeding bodies or over-sensual drama, only a wasted opportunity and
monetary payments to be made. Tunrida makes a promo cd in Nowember,
and a gig in December.
2000
A silent year for the band recording-wise, Tunrida searches for a
recording contract, in vain. Between the silence, a new member
L.Master is attached to the tendons & ligaments that make the body
of Tunrida. The promo 1999 is released as a split with finnish
Siege. Searching, searching, contemplating...No solution, no greater
truths revealed.
2001
Still no recording contract at hand, Tunrida heads towards the
studio to make a demo. Resulting in a harshest sound to date, the
three songs present the Tunrida 2001.
2002
The demo and all past un-official recordings are being released by
Dragonthrone Productions under the monicker ERA 2001. The demo
reaches good reviews, some calling it even a classic and a cult.
Tunrida plays one gig in the fall, constantly trying to have more
live appearances, always failing because of the lack of moral by the
gig-organizers. Tunrida gets a proposal from Azaghal to make a split
release. The band accepts.
2003
In January Tunrida records two older songs for the split release
with Azaghal. The songs are original, lyrically strongly influenced
by the movie Omen. As the winter starts to fade away, Tunrida makes
a decision to record their second full-lenght with self-financed
means. In June, the band heads towards the studio for two weeks.
Again, a lot of drinking and smoking, coffee and arguments. The end
result Imperial, is nothing less than a master-piece in the field of
extreme metal. In the fall, Tunrida again makes attempts for a gigs,
and again, fails because of gig-organizers. In October, the Omenne
split 7" is released by Aftermath Music. The december colds bring
forwards the mixing and mastering sessions of Imperial.
2005
Imperial was released. In Easter the band decided to split up
because of rehearsal difficulties. Seth, Arrakis, Achernar &
L.Master established a new band: "The Devils Advocates" with Yuppi
on vocals. Cinatas started his own personal project: "IC REX" in
2003.
