HOLY MOSES rank as one of the most notorious and influencial acts from the German thrash metal movement of the 80's and therefore the expectations of both media and fans towards their upcoming full-lengh comeback album hascertainly been high. And indeed, it takes a strong album like "DISORDER OF THE ORDER" to prove wrong those who didn't believe in the justified return of Holy Moses! Having played at most major national Metal festivals as well as huge ope air event in South Korea last Summer together with Nightwish in front of 40.000 people, the 2001 release of the "master of disaster" MCD already announced a furious and violent return to the stylistic roots of the Hamburg-based band's classic albums "finished with the dogs" and "The new machine of liechtenstein". Then again, the 12 brand new compositions on "disorder or order" go far beyond just re-creating the the ancient Holy Moses spirit: Vocalbeast and band leader Sabina Classen (still one of the most brutal female vocalists around, ever!) and her upgraded line-up (Andreas Libera replaces Jochen Funders on bass giutar) came up with a severely catchy album: their full-on raging approach and most of all, heavily varied songwriting wich will not only pleasantly suprise the educated Holy Moses fan but also appeal to the newee generation of metal addicts out there. With no preceding warning, songs like we at war, break the evil, hell on earth or blood bond will blow you away with untamed speed, merciless guitar riffs and an unexpected and in-your-face Thrash metal attack. On the other hand there are vicious, rather midpaced songs like deeper, i bleed or album's title track which are destined to consume the listener with yheir catchy, dark grooving structures and sheer shout-hooklines which should have an enormous impact for upcoming live shows. Furthermore, the stand-out songs verfolgungswahn and heaven Vs. Hell round off an extremely entertaining album, leaving the impression that Holy Moses are not only determined to please their faithful old following but also ready to conquer new ground in 2002. The flawlessly punchy and crystal clearn production of main songwriter and producer Andy Classen, executed at his own Stage One Studio (krisiun, ryker's...etc) as well as the impressive cover artwork and storyboard layout design by Stephan Hagenow (artist of the comic series Joe Darling and Ratten Meute ) additionally highlighten Disorder of the order to an indispensable release for fans of quality extreme metal. Indeed, Holy Moses are back and will take no prosoners... (century media official press release)
