GODUS was formed in 2000 by F.Trych (Bass), Abraham (Voice), V.Brown (Guitars), Phlegeton (Drums), as a side project of members from NULL and WORMED, playing a raw and mystic extreme Black Metal, the band started to elaborate several songs for what would be their first demo recorded in December 2002 at their own rehearsal room with a great response in the Spanish Black Metal scene.
The band played some shows and festivals in Madrid's area, getting a good acceptation amongst the audience. These shows presented GODUS as one of the most extreme and violent proposals in the Spanish Black Metal underground.
During the whole year 2003, GODUS wrote eight songs (including a DARKTHRONE cover) for their debut album "Hell Fuck Demon Sound" which were recorded by the end of the same year at Mantis Studios (Madrid). In early 2004, the band sent a 3-song promo from the album to XTREEM MUSIC, which immediately signed them for the release of their imminent debut album in March of the same year.
