Hailing from Staffordshire, and with a name inspired by Arthur
Millers The Crucible(a story of the Salem witch trials), ABIGAILS
MERCY play 'Dark Melodic Metal' in the vein of the classic sounds of
Sisters of Mercy but also with a nod toward the current rash of
Euro-metal like Nightwish and Lacuna Coil.
Following the success of their independently
released EP in 2004, the band then entered Robannas Studio in
Birmingham and set to work on recording their debut album
Salvation. They were then signed up to Casket Records, and the
album will be released on September 26th.
A video for the storming opening track To
Hell With Angels has already been shown TV, and now won first place
in the Music category at the Swansea International Film awards. To Hell with Angels
