ZUBROWSKA is a pretty young coming out from Toulouse (France) and emerged in November 2001 by Nutz (guitar), Jon (guitar) & Sam (drums) with the purpose of mixing brutal Death & Hardcore.
In March 2002, the band won a local contest with the help of two friends on bass & vocals. The band got finalist and after drinking some vodka they decided to call the band ZUBROWSKA (like the famous vodka, but with an "S" like the fuckin' Ska-Punk bands which are very popular in their country).
Thanks to the contest, they met Ben (screams) & Flo (bass), who played Grind/Punk/HC in their garage, and just one month after, the band played their very first brutal live show together with CEREBRAL TURBULENCY & ALIENATION MENTAL
In February 2003, after composing 3 more songs and hard-working, they decided to concentrate to record a real full-length album instead of recording scrappy demos. Then the line-up was completed by the coming of Clod (Growls) who brougth a guttural touch.
The recording of the album took place at the Bud Records Studio by Barby (Voracious Gangrene) & Matt (Gorgasm: from Bordeaux) who already recorded BLOODSHED and their respective own bands. Clod didn't perform very much on this album because he joined the band only 2 weeks before recording.
The album was mailed out to some labels and they finally decided to sign with Spanish XTREEM MUSIC who did set the release of the album for September 11th 2003.
In 2004, ZUBROWSKA is performing on stage out of France for the first time with some dates in Spain and a participation to the SWR Fest in Portugal with bands like AKERCOKE, DEAD INFECTION, MACHETAZO... Then, one week later, ZUBROWSKA replaces ABORTED for the "Wretched Spawn tour" in Spain (CANNIBAL CORPSE & KATAKLYSM). By the way, the band began to write new songs for the next album...
ZUBROWSKA started the recording sessions with Stephan May (MORTUARY, TALJANDOROGD) of the 2nd album which is entitled "Family Vault". The result is more mature.

This album is mastered by Alan Douches at West West Side Music (The Dillinger Escape Plan, Converge, Hatebreed and many more). It was be released in April 2005 through XTREEM MUSIC again!
28.06.2007 - recorded a 5 tracks promo called "61" in order to get a record label deal!
