PARRICIDE Straight from the pits of the underground comes one of the hardest working band ever existed on death metal scene. Having their fate sealed to audible terrorism and against popping up trends of all kind, PARRICIDE continues their march onto the top of death metal pantheon. Not solely that perseverance pays off, but mostly due to their unquestionable talent and skills developed throughout all the years, PARRICIDE gained a reputation of a band that never rest on laurels. Their music have always been well-cut, guts-kicking and over the top proficient. In the issue nothing has changed and never will. The Poles started walking around the idea of founding a band in the beginning of 1990, in the times when the greatest American and European death metal groups were taking their shapes into present-day monoliths. Armed to the teeth with instruments of torture supporting their viewpoint on how it all ought to sound like, bassist and vocalist Mariusz Staniuk along with guitar-duo Piotr Sabarański/Albert Kraczkowski and drummer Artur Raszka, rallied round to create their own high-speed and brutally stunning piece of death metal fine art of work. Having their hearts and souls to working on their music, never pretending the big guns, PARRICIDE went through the usual ups and downs. Waiting, on the off-chance for something to happen, in 1999 (after releasing one demo and already holding three materials on MC formats under the belt) PARRICIDE put on tracks their first CD entitled “Crude” which was soon after given to the eager fans via Samurais of Jackhammer Music. At the crack of millennium the never-give-up quartet recorded and released the already milestone of Polish death/grind – album “Ill-treat” (through tiny independent label Surgical Diathesis). Once again the record was critically-acclaimed as well as broadened their dynamically increasing fan-base. “Ill-treat” was then remastered, rewrapped and eventually re-released worldwide by Empire Records/PHD/Crash Music. The onslaught on senses kept going. Clutching their knife-keen guitars PARRICIDE prepared another CD “The Kingdom of Downfall”, which brought out all that you always craved for as far as both intelligent and uncompromising death metal is concerned. Multi-paced, brutal to the core with a more appointed grind approach, and most importantly, absolutely attention-grabbing. With that one PARRICIDE wrote a new chapter of extreme music history. PARRICIDE proved to be dead set on jackpot in the lottery of our lives! A perfect sonic picture of world collapse for the Generation Armageddon! Shows, tours and important European festival appearances followed. And here we go anew with their most recent full-length album entitled “Patogen” - by all means the most challenging record for all who strives for reaching the ultimate aural insanity. The yet-to-be-called a classic record has already been propelled by Polish tour and one of a kind “Patogen Festival”, both definitely successful. Great album along with stunning live performance and natural energy one more time appeared to be a recipe for respect and success in the realms of the underground scene. In 2008 the unstoppable underground force prepared yet another material for a 3-way split CD “The 3 Ways Of A Brutality” with their kindred spirits of Incarnated and Reexamine. PARRICIDE part comprises of 12 songs that showcase the creative capability is still on the rise, confirming the band’s strong position as death / grind force to be reckoned with. Worth mentioning is also that the new apex of musical ruthlessness is brought to you by indie label Mad Lion Records (in areas of Japan & USA the split CD is produced & distributed exclusively by Japanese label Obliteration Records), which not for the first time revealed its notorious taste for sonic crime. by Bart Donarski (Mad Lion Press Release) |

INCARNATED
INCARNATED was formed in 1992, playing sick and no-compromise metal described by
band members as Gorephobic Slaughtering Metal. Quickly their first demo titled
"Empire Of Rot", produced at Bialystok's Salman Studio was released in 1993. A
year later more material was brought to light, this time it resulting in a split
demo with Dead Infection. In 1995 the time had come for first official demo
titled "Atrocious Vermin". That time recordings were made at Warrior Studio, and
material has been released by SPM Records. Unfortunately, because of lack of
promotion no mark was left on the metal community. Another step for the band was
promotional material recorded at Salman Studio, consisting of 3 completely new
songs. 1998 brought a split CD with Damnable where songs from "Atrocious Vermin"
appeared as the band became more active with live shows. After almost 8 years of
existence the official debut album from the band "Human Flesh" was released on
cd by Demonic Records. That material had been recorded at Bloodline Studio and
mastered at famous Bialystok's Hertz Studio (Vader, Squash Bowels, Dead
Infection, Decapitated). After period of 5 years of being in creative silence
INCARNATED has made next step to show it’s still alive and recorded material for
second album which was released by polish label called
Selfmadegod Records finally in March
of 2006. The album has been titled “Pleasure Of Consumption” and there has been
included 10 tracks of brutal, raw and pure old school Death Metal in old Swedish
style characteristic for such bands as Entombed, Nihilist, Dismember, Necrony
and General Surgery. In 2007 thanks a cooperation between INCARNATED and
Selfmadegod Records again has arisen their next CD titled “Some Old Stories”.
The material features old INCARNATED demos from 1993 – 95. The same year they
entered to a studio to record completely new piece of shit. It took in March at
Bloodline Studio in Bialystok (Poland) and was dismembered by Robert Pierscinski.
There are 6 tracks of putrid old school death metal as the part of a split CD
which is released by Mad Lion Records (in areas of Japan & USA the split CD is
released & distributed exclusively by Japanese label Obliteration Records) and
has got a title “The 3 Ways Of A Brutality”. |

REEXAMINE REEXAMINE has been formed by guitar player Robin in a downtown area of Tokyo in 2003. Their sounds basically are influenced by old school Death metal with original riffs and songs structure. In 2004 they released their debut demo CD-R titled “Minagoroshi”. A year later next release was published out by the band on Japanese label Bloodbath Records. It’s been titled “Laughing Dolls In The Purple Sunshine” and concerns 10 tracks of brutal, intensive old school death metal with a specific, exotic touch of Japanese variety. In August of 2006 REEXAMINE entered to the Music Force Recording Studio (Koiwa, Japan) to record next glorious release. The recordings have brought 6 tracks of pure and a little bit technical death metal in the vein of the coolest bands of a genre. All speaking title “From The Cradle To The Grave” describes the idea of tracks included on. Finally the material has got - thanks of a cooperation between two friendly labels Mad Lion Records and Obliteration Production - a possibility to be a part of unique undertaking – the split CD with two another polish Gods of brutal playing Parricide and Incarnated titled “The 3 Ways Of A Brutality”. Join us to listen to one of the best split in history of brutality!!! |
