Danny Tanner is an experimental Death Metal and
Grindcore band hailing from Roselle Park, New Jersey. Pete Colucci
(vocals) and Chris Netta (guitars) formed the group in the summer of
2006 as a way to get out their unique musical talents. With their
debut release, The Finest Grind, the members of Danny Tanner are set
to destroy all that you know about modern music.
Independently recorded in the summer/fall of 2006, The Finest Grind
blends Grindcore and Death Metal with experimental touches of monk
chants, funk guitars, and a down to earth sense of humor. Vicious
guitar riffs, guttural vocals, and blistering fast shredding
constitute most of the music, along with samples that range from
modern day commercials to classic Hollywood films.
The members of Danny Tanner are no newcomers to the music scene.
Pete Colucci has been performing in bands since the age of 14,
including the acts ‘So I Shot Myself,’ ‘Comatose,’ and ‘Anal
Mechanism.’ Chris Netta has been playing the guitar for almost ten
years, and has performed in local bands and various side projects,
including Politics: The Band, and his own solo project.
