Terrordrome

the fall of the year 2000. Until October 2001 Terrordrome's first official
release named " Intravenous Multiplication " (2002 MCD) were musically
completed. At that time, in the bass position a session bass player helped the
band to complete all the music parts. In September 2001. Peter Ouzounis (vocals)
joined the band and at the end of November 2001 the first MCD were both
musically and lyrically completed. The music style is based on Death Metal with
many old school influences from bands like Monstrosity. Death and Cannibal
Corpse. It was finally released in May 2002. 27th of November 2002 Terrordrome
gave their first live in Thessaloniki and since then several live performances
were given. For the live performances the band had found a bass player named
Sakis Anastasiadis who also became a full time member. The first gig around
Greece went very good and some new songs were ready to be recorded. Late August
2003 terrordrome entered for the second time the studio and started rehearsing.
A lot of problems come up with the people involved and the band lost a lot of
time. At that time the band lost also its bass-player due to lack of dedication.
Terrordrome returned to the studio where the first MCD was recorded and began
all the recordings from the beginning. So, in February 2004 the promo CD
"Sane-in-sane" was released. It came out to be more aggressive, intense and
technical from the first MCD. Brutal Death Metal in the veins of Suffocation and
Dying Fetus. 23th of October 2004. at Ydrogeios live stage (Thessaloniki)
Terrordrome performed a historic live together with the Death Metal legends
OBITUARY! In March of the year 2005 both bass and drum player were asked to
leave the band due to lack of imagination, creativity and dedication.
Two months later and after some auditions. Anestis Varitimiadis took the bass
position and Antonis Vafiadis took the position behind Terrordrome's drum kit.
At that time, the band's logo had also been developed by Christophe Szpajdel.
The music style has also changed and it can be described as Brutal Death Metal
with influences from bands like Origin. Nile and Hate Eternal. May 2006 a
four-track pre-production recording was released with the new line-up, as a
promo material for Terrordrome's first full length album. The recording was done
by the band itself. The feedback from the underground scene was awesome and
Terrordrome have gained a contract for booking management with the well
established company named Wizard Live Production. Apart from that, many labels,
distros became interested in distributing Terrordrome's new material.
Unfortunately. Antonis (drums) did not fit in with the rest of the band because
of his inability to play the new material. A replacement has been found in the
face of Bill Stavrianidis (drums), who came in the band on September 2006.
February 2007 and the first official release of Terrordrome is unleashed through
Life Fluid Productions and Distro. "Atrocities", a 5-way split CD including the

act for two very important bands of the Death Metal scene. PUNGENT STENCH and
MALEVOLENT CREATION. The show was another great experience for the band, playing
together with such legends.
IN 2007 TERRORDROME have signed with UK label Grindethic Records to release
their debut full length album. Titled "Vehement Convulsion ", the album is a
formidable offering of technical brutal death that will excite fans of
DISAVOWED, VISCERAL BLEEDING and HATE ETERNAL, with unrelenting blast beats and
intricate guitar work.
Commented Tom from Grindethic Records: "Any decent death metal label worth their
weight in rotting flesh these days has to have a crushing Greek band on their
roster. So not wanting to be left behind we did not hesitate to sign up these
technical monsters. All joking aside, the intensity and precision of
TERRORDROME's metal assault has to be heard to be believed!"
"Vehement Convulsion" was produced by George Bokos (ROTTING CHRIST, NIGHTFALL)
at Grindhouse Studios, and mastered by the mighty Robbe K (DISAVOWED).
