TWO FANTASTIC BANDS ON ONE LITTLE PLASTIC BOX ... LETS SEE ... MMM TASTY GRINDCORE FROM BOTH SIDES...
FIRST COMES A LENG TCH'E - NOT MUCH TO SAY, EARLY RAZORGRIND - MADNESS COMBINED WITH STONED ROCK, MOSH PITS PARTS AND BRUTAL HARDCORE. ITS NOT A LENG TCH'E ANYMORE AS WE KNOW BUT STILL THEIR SOUND BRUTAL AND FURIOUS. SOMEKIND BRUTAL HYBRID OF GRINDCORE AND ROCK.
NEXT - f*ck THE FACTS WILL CONQUER YOUR MINDS WITH MONSTROUS GRIND. 5 GRINDCORE TRACKS AND ONE TORTUROUS ROCK GRIND SONG. NO DOUBT BOTH BANDS SHOWS A NEW DIMENSIONS OF GRIND ON THIS RELEASE AND OF COURSE THIS RELEASE IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

LENG TCH'E the band formed in early 2001, basing their own hybrid of grindcore on bands such as Regurgitate, Hemdale, Nasum and Blood Duster, and mixing it all up with some stoner / rock / hardcore influences, the band baptized their own unique style, now known as 'razorgrind'.
The quintet recorded two albums that have been released by The Spew Records in Europe. Noted underground label Willowtip issued the much talked about "Man Made Predator" in the USA in 2003.
LENG TCH'E then signed a deal with Relapse Records for their next album, "The Process Of Elimination" in 2005. The album was recorded at the legendary Belgian CCR studio and mixed by Tue Madsen (Gorefest, Moonspell, Mnemic, The Haunted) at Antfarm Studio. Hooks that sink into your brain accompanied some of the fastest and most extreme grind to emerge in years as LENG TCH'E proved that grindcore can continue to evolve, while staying true to its formative roots.
Several festival appearances (Furyfest, Graspop, Summerbreeze, Obscene Extreme, Maryland Deathfest) followed, as well as two east coast US tours and a successful trip through Canada.
In 2006, the band released a split CD with French grindcore band WARSCARS on renowned European underground label Bones Brigade Records. This release served as a preview for the upcoming full length album and saw the band continuing to hone their craft by writing longer and more complex songs without losing touch of the extreme brutality they were known for.
LENG TCH'E dropped the hammer in 2007 with "Marasmus", their second full-length for Relapse Records. A heavier and more measured bludgeoning than previous records, "Marasmus" saw the band incorporating more pronounced death metal riff age to their pummeling grind assault. This time, they went up to Sweden to have the album mixed by Fredrik Nordstrom (At The Gates, In Flames. Arch Enemy, Soilwork). An absolute blinder of a full-length, "Marasmus" put Leng Tch'e squarely at the forefront of the modern extreme scene. After years of revolving door line-ups, the band finally settled into its current incarnation of Jan Hallaert on guitar, Tony Van den Eynde on drums, Serge Kasongo on vocals and Nicolas Malfeyt on bass guitar. With the creative nucleus stronger than ever, LENG TCH'E will release a split CD/7" with Canadian stalwarts f*ck The Facts on Power It Up Records. Meanwhile, the songwriting continues for the upcoming full length album, due out in 2009.

f*ck The Facts was started in the late 90s as a recording project by Topon Das.
In 2000. the first full length CD "Discoing The Dead" was released by Black Hole Productions.
In 2001. the band recorded their 2nd full length "Mullet Fever" (Sonic Deadline Records) which included material for a split 7" with Kastrat on Zas! Autoprod. By 2002, their next full length CD "Backstabber Etiquette" was released by Great White North Records, and a split 7" with Sylvester Staline for Anvil Of Fury Records. A tour through the Maritimes followed which led to
the departure of Tim Audette - he did his last tour through the Canadian East Coast with FTF in 2003.
As a 3-piece, the band recorded material for a split CD with Feeble Minded on Grodhaisn Productions. Not to be held back, the band toured the US with Malefaction as a trio. Upon return, FTF found a new guitarist in Dave Menard - this brought inspiration: in late 2003, FTF released a split CD with Sergent Slaughter (Undecent Records / Meat 5000 Records). The quartet started incorporating more metal into their sound with an experimental approach. After some line-up changes, FTF wasted no time getting it back together, and within a month were back out playing live.
In 2004, FTF recorded and released 6 new songs as the "Legacy Of Hopelessness" CDEP - a far more experimental release than the ones before. The recording (minus the 2 enhanced bonus tracks) was released in Europe through Privileged To Fail Records on a split CD with Narcosis, Midget Parade & Archer. By spring 2005, the line-up changed once again: FTF enlisted fill-in members Mathieu Vilandre (guitar) and Steve Chartier (bass) who both would become permanent members later, and hit the stage again. In October 2005. FTF recorded a 2 song pre-production demo of material that would be on the new full length album. The 2 songs "The Wreaking" & "Taken From The Nest" were recorded by ex-drummer Matt Connell at the band's rehearsal space and was shopped around to different labels.

 Quantcast

2006 led to another line-up change - drummer Tim Olsen was asked to leave the band. Mathieu Vilandre who had already filled in as the drummer at previous shows was moved to that spot permanently. In February 2006, FTF entered Studio En-Phase in Montreal to record the new full length album "Stigmata High-Five" which led to a deal with Relapse Records. In May 2006, GWN Records released the "Collection Of Splits 2002-2004" CD featuring remastered versions of all the recordings the band had done for splits between "Backstabber Etiquette" and "Legacy Of Hopelessness".
At the same time, FTF hit the road for a small 12-day tour with new label mates Leng Tch'e and Montreal tech-core band Beneath The Massacre.
