The origins:
7th Nemesis was bom in December 2000 when Mat (Bass), Pascal (Guitars) and
Sargon (Vocals) from Sarganas (Black-Death Metal) were joined by Alex (Guitars),
from Inward Mind, and Andrew (Drums) to create a Brutal Death Metal oriented
project with some 70's influences.
In September 2001, Xavier, also from Inward Mind, replace Pascal and thus allow
the band to set up its definitive line-up. The concept: The quintet's objective
was then to create a first cycle that would take the form of a tetralogy
composed by 4 praxis: Violence, Chaos, Reification and finally Existence. The
first praxis, "Violenta Imperatrix Mundi", hinges on the 9 principles of the
enemy (see after).
This album is the tale of a deliquescence and ofall the violence that goes with
it. It is the expression of a deep disgust, the portrait of the perversion and
the denatui isation of civilization's foundations. The projection: Jn a few
months, the band composed the 9 titles that shall form this first album and
entered then their own studio (the Hvbreed's Studio) in April 2002, to record a
3 titles promo CD that have been welcomed quite favourably across the globe. In
March 2003, the label Skull Fucked Prod, asked 7th Nemesis to record the 4
tracks that will figure on the "Chronicles of a Sickness" Split CD shared with
the Austrian Death Metal Band Punishment. The band Is now on its way to achieve
the recording of its debut album...
...The Scourge Is Now Unleashed.
