:: Cockandballtorture was founded in early `97 by 3 members of ex-CARNAL TOMB. After 6 months of rehearsals the trio visited a local studio to record a promo tape covering 16 songs of the 28 songs theyґve arranged in these months. the promo tape was named “cocktales”, and was a real success for CBT as it appeared in several underground zines, getting very good reviews. In the beginning the bandґs style was somewhere in between GUT, HEMDALE and CEREBRAL TURBULENCY, but CBT rapidly developed their very unique style of grind. Due to the great response to their promo tape, the band decided to release a MCD version of their tape which was self-produced. the MCD was finally released in late `98. :: 6 months later the MCD was sold out. so there came up a 2nd press of the MCD, this time released by SHREDDED REC. (ger). until today over 1400 MCDs have been sold. CBT has been a trio from the beginning on, only falling back on a 4th member for live gigs. in the studio all vocals are done by Sascha (drums, vocals). in the future there will be no need for a 4th CBT member. Then came a split ep with SQUASH BOWELS in may `99 which is already sold out! After short negotiations CBT signed to SUBZERO REC. (ger) in september `99. the label has covered bands like MUCUPURULENT in the past, releasing both albums of this band. In late october `99 and january `00 the band visited the SUBZERO REC. studios in Backnang to record material for their first full length album. the recording sessions resulted in 21 tracks for the upcoming CD “opus(sy)VI". Due to several problems concerning the distribution and promotion, the album was finally licensed to SHREDDED REC. (ger). :: 2 more split eps should have been released in `99 with GROSSMEMBER and LAST DAYS OF HUMANITY, but the release date have moved into 2000. The CBT / GROSSMEMBER ep was finally released in january `00 Further releases are already planned for this year and next year with bands like FILTH & DOWNTHROAT & NEUROPATHIA and DISGORGE. CBT will also be part of a tribute compilation for IMPETIGO with the cover song “red wigglers” from the “ultimo mondo cannibale” CD The debut CD "opus(sy) VI" was finally released by SHREDDED REC. (ger) in june 2000. the release covers 21 songs of pure gore grind massacre. the first response to the album has been overwhelming. Another split release, a split MCD with LIBIDO AIRBAG has been released in october 2000 covering 4 new trax of CBT. :: In 2000 CBT have played several shows in rostok at the ARSCHCHOOLIO open air, in trutnov (cz) at the OBSCENE EXTREME festival and several gigs in germany and the netherlands. the reactions to the shows have always been great. The band has almost finished songwriting for the their 2nd album. the songs will be recorded in summer 2001 CBT have done their first mini-tour in the czech republic with INGROWING, ISACAARUM and LYKATHEA AFLAME on the 11-15. april `01. the band played in prague, pilsen, budweis, ostrava and nove zamky (SL). the shows were brutal as fuck! The bandґs latest release is a 4-way split CD with FILTH, DOWNTHROAT and NCC. the CD was released on BIZARRE LEPROUS PROD. and covers 5 cover songs. :: CBT have played on the FUCKING GRINDING PORNO GORE FEST in paris and on the famous OHIO DEATH FEST near cleveland/ohio. In august `01 the band entered the SUBZERO REC. studios in backnang (ger) again to record new material for their 2nd album and another release. the album should be released by some US label, but negotiations are still in process. CBT have played in london together with the mighty GOREROTTED. the show and party after the show was a real killer! :: The year 2002 started with a line-up change for the band. CBT decided to continue as a trio on stage, too. so timo and tobi had to do the vocals on gigs from now on. after a few rehearsals these two guys managed to cope with playing guitar/bass and doing the vocals at the same time. The 2nd album "sadochismo" was realesaed in june 2002 on ABLATED REC (USA). the album covers 15 songs (41 minutes) and features some self-made delicate artwork. simultaneously to the album, CBT have released a MCD called "where girls learn to piss on command" on STUHLGANG REC (ger). both releases have got great reviews in zines from all over the world and came out as another great success for the band. CBT have played the OBSCENE EXTREME festival 2002 and it was a great success for the band. and they were happy about the fact that CBT could do live gigs as a trio from on. (the fest was only the 2nd gig as a trio for the band). a few days after that CBT also played the BRUTAL ASSAULT fest in the czech rep and the MORBIDE FESTSPIELE in germany. all shows were a total success for the band. :: In late 2002, the band has played some gigs in france, germany and belgium which were killer shows. The songwriting for the 3rd album is process in late 2002 and early 2003. by the end of january 2003, about 75% of the new material has been finished. ::Later in 2003, CBT played gigs in Arnheim, the FUCK THE COMMERCE festival in germany and the NRW DEATH FEST near cologne, germany. The second half of 2003, the band spend a lot of time for rehearsal sessions for improving their new material for the upcoming 3rd album which should be recorded in early 2004 at the SUBZERO STUDIOS in backnang, again. The band still improved their new style to remain a unique band in the genre. CBT broke out the contracts with ABLATED ECORDS (USA), due to a rip off to the disadvantage of the band. CBT’s “sadochismo”-album was re-released in summer of 2003 by THE SPEW REC. (italy) to keep the record available in euope. In late 2003, the band negotiated with MORBID RECORDS to fix deal for future releases and projects. In november 2003 the contract was singed mutually.	~ OTHER BRUTAL REVIEWS ~
