Dawnrider is an enormous project of Majesty Mastermind Tarek „MS“ Maghary, telling a great epic fantasy story about the eternal fi ght between good and evil and is taking place in the kingdom of Rianda. Musically traditional metal is meeting with the variety of some of the best singers of the current Heavy Metal scene. As many fans of Majesty know, Tarek is writing on his fi rst fantasy novel since the release of the „Sword & Sorcery“ album in 2002. This fantasy novel, which will be released shortly, also takes place in the fantastic world of „Dawnrider“. The happenings of Dawnrider were going to happen long time before the novel starts, there‘s a time frame of approximately 100 years between them. Of course Dawnrider is working as a story on it’s own, but some of its events and characters refer to the „Sword & Sorcery“ novel, so the understanding of this epic world Tarek created will be much more signifi cant after you’ve read the book. The plannings for the fi rst Dawnrider album were starting back in the beginning of 2004, when Tarek had the basic shapes of the concept in mind. After he returned from touring with Majesty he started working on the fi rst songs, which feature a lot of different characters. Tarek wanted the story to be sung by characteristic metalsingers, so that the different roles of Dawnrider benefi t from the huge variety of all the different voices that are involved. The album packaging is including the written story on about 30 pages, so that the listener can deeply get into the world of Dawnrider.
