DEFACING - "THE BEGINNING OF HUMAN CRUELTY" (2003, DEMO)

The band was born with the necessity of playing and writing a totally crushing and brutal music under the name of SPLATTERED EXCREMENTS. In July 2001, after some years of friendship and musical affinities, Claudio Urrlba [drums], Edvite [vomits & regurtitations], Juan Rojas [rhythm guitar], Jose Torres [bass] and Claudio Acufta [lead guitar], decided to unleash their most extreme impulses, giving their first steps in the development of brutality both in the musical and lyrical aspects. During the whole year 2002 and early 2003, the band played some shows both with local and more popular acts like UNDERCROFT, POEMA ARCANVS, INQUISICION, PANDEMIA, etc, receiving an excellent response by the crowd in every show. After many efforts and dedication, the band finally recorded their debut demo in March 2003, and it's then when they decided to change their monicker into DEFACING. In Summer 2003, DEFACING saw their debut demo "The Beginning Of Human Cruelty" recorded and mastered at SADE studios by Juan Pablo Donoso and released by TOXIC/ VIRUS, which leaded to sign with XTREEM MUSIC During 2004, with inclusion diego valenzuela as the lead guitarist, Defacing introduce themselves in different parts of chile with important national and international bands like undercroft, pandemia, and dark funeral among others, receiving a very good response from other people. In march of the same year, the band recorded their debut cd entitled "spitting savagery" in the SADE stidios, with was about to be released by XTREEM MUSIC worlwide except Chile by VIRUS MUSIC. DEFACING is actually in the a process of de-composition of new and extreme songs with the purpuse of smashing and ripping everything on their ways, being joined for purpose by Carlos Berenguela as lead guitarrist.
