VERMINOUS was formed by Linus Bjorklund (guitars/vocals), Pelle Mdander (Guitars) and Andreas Johansson (drums) in August 2002 with the aim to do extremly blasphemous old-school Death Metal. VERMINOUS was bom from the ashes of their former band DELVE, who have a MCD entitled "The Dead Amongst' through Greek label Nuclear Winter Records. In December 2002, VERMINOUS recorded their first official proof of existence in the form of a 7"EP also for the same label. In March 2003, and after some months of negotiations, VERMINOUS signed a deal with Spanish label Xtreem Music and the band began to work working on the last pieces for their debut album "Impious Sacrilege" that was recorded and mastered at the JFK Studio in April for a later release in Jury of the same year. In May 2003 Simon Frodeberg entered the band as the vacant basists place of VERMINOUS. Lovers of the most devilish 'and aggressive old school Swedish Death Metal in the vein of the godly GROTESQUE and KAAMOS... Keep you dead eyes open for it!
